Trauma-Informed Care and Social Work Education and Practice

This course provides an in-depth exploration of trauma-informed care as a framework for social work education and practice. Students will examine the principles of safety, trust, empowerment, and collaboration, and learn how to apply these principles across diverse settings. The course integrates evidence-based interventions such as CBT, CPT, and CBT-I, while emphasizing cultural sensitivity and anti-oppressive practice.'
