This two-part course provides a comprehensive overview of key social work theories and their application in research, practice, and community engagement. Students will explore theoretical frameworks such as systems theory, critical theory, anti-oppressive practice, and postcolonial theory, and learn how to apply them in designing and conducting research. The course emphasizes bridging theory and practice to address real-world social issues.
